A Legacy of
Faith & Formation
For over two decades, Rajagiri Christu Jayanthi Public School has shaped enlightened minds and compassionate hearts in the hills of Kakkanad, Kochi.
Rooted in the CMI
Educational Tradition
Rajagiri Christu Jayanthi Public School (RCJPS) is one of the many educational endeavours of the Fathers of the CMI Congregation — the first indigenous religious order for men in India, founded by Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara.
Ideally located amidst the hills and fields of Rajagiri Valley, Kakkanad, our campus offers an ambience that rejuvenates even the most restless of minds — fine weather, a natural pollution-free atmosphere, and space for students to learn, observe, introspect and contemplate.
Affiliated to the CBSE, RCJPS today is home to more than 3,500 students and 180 dedicated faculty, carrying forward a mission of holistic, values-based education that reaches from the classroom to the wider world. The establishment of the school to fulfill the motto of the CMI congregation to mould a better generation in the years to come is based on Christian values.
The school focuses on acquisition of academic skills by way of training to apply knowledge to real-life situations under the guidance of professionally competent staff to ensure the overall development of a student. The school came into existence in June 1999 and within a span of more than a decade the school has become the much sought after educational institution for the parents who are specific about a result –oriented, holistic and academic growth and development.
Our Vision & Objectives →
Vision & Mission
Forming Leaders for Tomorrow
To form leaders who are intellectually competent, spiritually mature, morally upright, and socially acceptable — leaders who champion the cause of justice, love, truth and peace, and who are ever open to further growth.
Empowering Global Citizens
To bring forth successful global citizens — spiritually upright and proud of their rich heritage, empowered with the virtues of righteousness, tolerance and love for their fellow beings.
The Origin
Rajagiri Christu Jayanthi Public School was established in 2000 as a memorial of the Maha Jubilee of Christu Jayanthi 2000. The idea of a Christian educational institution imparting sound moral values and quality education to the young generations thus gave shape to this temple of learning. The Christian principle of Universal Brotherhood based on unconditional love for everyone forms the foundation. Our aim is to equip our young generation to face the challenges ahead.

In today's rapidly changing digital era, education is no longer limited to textbooks and examinations. At RCJPS we believe true education must address not only intellectual growth, but also emotional well-being, mental stability and the formation of character.
Every child is encouraged to dream, discover their potential, and grow with confidence — so that our institution continues to inspire generations with wisdom, values and excellence.
